Golden Grove Road is an essential road used by thousands of North Eastern suburb locals each day. The Labor Government has failed to provide sufficient investment as the population has grown, leading to many issues, including:
- Too narrow to cater for existing traffic flows with turning cars and stopping buses creating chaos
- Poor condition of the road’s surface and lack of overtaking lanes creates safety risks
- Locals have no safe place to walk. A lack of footpaths near bus stops forces people to walk on uneven and often muddy tracks
- Insufficient storm water drainage causes the road to flood after rains, creating dangerous situations for pedestrians and cars
- The busy intersection at Hancock Road and Golden Grove Road is unsafe for local traffic
Local residents and businesses are all heavily dependent on this stretch of road, so we must have a solution to fix the problem.
As part of the Marshall Liberal Team, I want to hear your views about the importance of upgrading the stretch of Golden Grove Road from Grove Way to Kings Avenue.

Many thanks,
